Hello Friends,
I am in Florida right now working hard on my book which God willing will be out this Spring! It is almost ready to go to the Editor! Praise God! I love being by the Ocean as I feel so close to God. I don’t love running in particular, but you can be outside and do it anywhere, and you don’t need equipment. For me running by the ocean is a breeze in more ways than one. I honestly get so into the awesome view that God created that I don’t even remember I am running! I could go to the gym, but quite frankly, I don’t want to be inside when it’s 70 degrees and sunny. The great thing about running is you don’t have to be inside to do it although in Buffalo right now it’s hard to be outside! Inside or outside – Just 30 minutes of cardio a day can give you amazing results. And it can be accumulative in 10 minute bouts if you have time constraints or just can’t do 30 minutes when you are first starting out! You can also do interval training meaning run for 5 minutes and walk for 1 minute and increase the running segments until you are up to 30 minutes straight. This will make you stronger each time and you will feel so good!
It’s breath taking here. The massive and breathtaking ocean just gives me yet another reason to think about how awesome our God is. Every day I thank God for my healthy body. I joined the gym back in high school, and the very first time I walked out of the gym, I looked up to the beautiful sky and thanked God for my healthy body, and I’ve been saying that everyday since!

Also tomorrow is the Superbowl and I have some tips for you to stay on track for that and other parties down the line below!!
So that you are not detrailed from your New Years Resolutions just for game day, here are some healthier tips for superbowl snacks to help you to stay on track.
Cut up a tray of veggies and hummus as a healthy snack.
Cut up or buy chopped Purple cabbage and snack on that.
Offer alternative to chips with Kale Chips. Chop up Kale and spray some oil and spices (Spike) on it and bake in the oven on 350 until crispy (about 30 minutes).
Drink herbal decaf tea and water only
Stay away from the food table once you have eaten.
Watch the commercials instead of opening the refrigerator
