This is an immune boosting low glycemic protocol I have designed to help reset and jump start your metabolism, help you get Healthy and lose excess body fat, increase muscle mass and increase your energy. This is based off of my upcoming book “The Raw Truth Recharge” to be released in summer of 2014 – (praying that it will be in time for Kingdom Bound)! The Raw Truth Recharge Shopping List & Protocol for Detox
Week 1:
Protocol:
***Have Protein and Fiber for every meal
***Have a Green Salad or Green Smoothie Every day
***Have Apple Cider Vinegar Every Day
***Have Lemon and Water Every Morning
***Journal Every day all you eat and drink
***Have 7 hours per sleep per night
***At least 25 grams of Fiber per day
***Avoid all Sugar, Caffeine, Alcohol, Processed Foods, Pesticides, Carcinogens, Steroids, Antibiotics, Chemicals, GMO’s
Veggies:
Eat as much as you want of Raw Veggies per day. You can also steam, sauté in veggie broth, broil, grill the following which is partial list. You can choose what you like from the list but the greens are a must!
All should be Organic Especially during detox. You don’t need to buy all of these but choose a variety and make sure you get your GREENs in.
Alfalfa Sprouts Cabbage Spaghetti Squash
Artichokes Carrots Kale Snow Peas Tomatoes Sun dried Tomatoes
Arugula Cauliflower Leeks Spinach Asparagus Celery
Lettuce Spinach Kale (all except iceberg)
Bean Sprouts Chard Mushrooms Tomato Paste (2 tablespoons)
Beets Collard Greens Okra Tomato Sauce (1/2 cup – no sugar added)
Bell Peppers Cucumber Olives Watercress mushrooms garlic
Bok Choy Eggplant Onions Water Chestnuts
Broccoli Green Beans Parsley Yellow Squash
Brussels sprouts Hot Peppers Radishes Zucchini Sweet Potatoes
Spaghetti squash tomatoes snap peas ginger root
Fruit:
Only 1-3 servings per day of the following (1/4 cup per serving)
Fresh Organic is preferred or Organic Frozen
Preferred: Blackberries, Elderberry’s, Blueberries, Cherries,, Strawberries, Mixed Berries, Lemons, Apples, Oranges,
Protein:
3 servings per day:
Animal Protein: Organic Eggs, Chicken, Turkey, Deep Water Fish Wild Salmon 4-6 oz
Plant Protein: 1/2 cup of Beans, legumes, lentils, Chick Peas, Tofu, Hummus, Tempah, SunWarrior Plant Protein, Go Raw by Garden of Life or Vega Plant Protein Powder or Hemp Seeds
Beverages:
Drink half your body weight in ounces of Filtered water per day minimum
Unsweetened coconut milk or unsweetened almond milk
unsweetened coconut water
Herbal Decaf Green Tea and other herbal decaf green tea
Bragg’s apple cider Vinegar
Tomato Juice (1/3 cup), No salt
Green Smoothies (recipes on my blog)
Grains:
2-3 servings per week (1 slice per serving)
Sprouted Grain Flourless Bread only (Ezekiel preferred)
Other:
Maca Royal for women or Men (in Canada by Rainforest) 1/2 to 1tsp per once or twice per week
6-12 cartons of Low Sodium Organic Vegetable Broth for Detox soup (recipe listed on blog at www.robbieraugh.com)
Bragg’s apple cider Vinegar (1-2 tbs per day)
Balsamic Vinegar for salad dressing
Turmeric cumin cilantro sage italian seasoning onion powder cinnamon
Optional Hot sauce Dijon mustard or any other condiments without sugar
**No oils or nuts or seeds during week 1
Week 2:
Same as above
Add Raw Nuts and Seeds (no peanuts) – limit to 9-12 nuts per day
Chia Seeds, ground Flax seeds – limit to 1 tbsp per day of one (I prefer Chia)
Add Oils – Extra Virgin Cold pressed Coconut Oil and EV Olive Oil (used sparingly with a spritzer)
****Note: Always check with your Doctor before beginning any new Exercise or Nutritional program.
*Please note that my six “rechargers” and clients are on a different, very strict detox. If you are under the care of a Health Coach you may ask them to advise you on one under their care.
